Green houses can be A-frame, lean to, hoop houses and more and can be made from wood, aluminum, PVC and other building materials. They can also be portable or stationary. So you see, before going out to purchase assembly equipment, it’s a good idea to decide what type of greenhouse you want first.

How Do I Decide on a Greenhouse Style?

The style of your greenhouse is really up to you. All designs are great and will benefit you and your plants. The main thing to consider is how many plants you need to house, as well as the amount of space you have available. There’s not point beginning construction on a greenhouse only to find out that it won’t fit in your yard. So measure out the space first and then head to your local supply store for the things you’ll need.

If you’re having trouble deciding on a greenhouse design or simply aren’t sure how to build one yourself, try using a greenhouse kit. The kits will come with all the directions and many of the supplies you’ll need, along with instructions on how to assemble your new greenhouse. These handy kits are especially helpful for novice carpenters.

The greenhouse supplies you’ll need for your new garden structure definitely depend upon the style and size of the greenhouse you’re building. Thus, you should first decide on the greenhouse design that appeals to you and then figure out how big it needs to be. From there, head to your local hardware store to pick out the supplies that you need. You’ll then be ready to build your new greenhouse!
