Vegetable Garden Lean to Greenhouse – Transform your Gardening

I recently visited a friend’s home and took a look in her backyard. Aside from being beautifully landscaped, I noticed a lovely little vegetable garden lean to greenhouse out back in her garden. I asked if we could take a look at it and she happily obliged. Once we were outside, I saw that the green house was a lovely structure that was attached to her garden shed. Around it was a gorgeous display of plants and flowers and a little garden path leading to and from the greenhouse. It was quite possibly one of the most charming and handsome greenhouse I had ever seen.

My friends’ greenhouse was not very big, although it was large enough to house several different varieties of herbs and a lovely vegetable assortment. She told me that vegetable garden lean to greenhouses were popular amongst the folks in her neighborhood and mentioned that several of her friends and neighbors had similar green houses.

She told me that they were advantageous because your plants received optimal sunlight and the growing conditions could be regulated with things like heaters and ventilation. She said she preferred growing her veggie collection in a greenhouse environment rather than in a vegetable patch because it gave her more control over the success of her vegetables and herbs.

As well as that, I told her that the look and charm of her lean-to greenhouse, against her rustic garden shed, added appeal and beauty to her backyard.

What are the Benefits of a Lean to Greenhouse?

As we stood talking, we discussed the fact that lean to greenhouses have many benefits that other types of greenhouses do not. The primary advantage of a lean-to greenhouse is that it saves room. Likewise it fits in areas with limited space. The other wonderful thing about a lean-to is that as it is attached to another structure, it is generally close to electricity and water outlets.

In my friend’s case, her garden shed was equipped with electricity and running water; therefore, it was very easy to access both of those things for her green house. She also mentioned that lean-to green houses are often must less expensive than free-standing houses, which is an attractive feature for people who don’t want to spend too much money on their greenhouse.

Attaching a lovely lean-to greenhouse to a garden shed, or even to the side of your house or garage is a wonderful option for many people. It provides a lovely place for you to grow your vegetables and does not take up all of your yard space. What’s more it’s economical and handsome.
